Policies
How Ream & Rule sells, ships and takes things back.
Terms of sale
Ream & Rule sells office and stationery supplies to businesses and their teams. Prices are in US dollars, and a checkout shows the full total, shipping and any tax included, before anything is paid.
- An order is accepted when Ream & Rule confirms it and issues a receipt signed with the key published at reamandrule.com/.well-known/ucp.
- Purchasing agents are welcome. An agent pays with a single-use Enruta credential and a mandate for that exact checkout; a completion without one is declined.
- We never ask for a card number and never store one.
Privacy
We keep what an order needs (the buyer's name and e-mail, the shipping address, the items and the payment reference) and a log of the requests agents send us, with payment tokens redacted. We do not sell or share customer data.
Shipping
Standard shipping is $5.00, free on orders of $100 or more, and arrives in 5 to 7 business days. Express shipping is $15.00 and arrives in 2 business days. Orders ship with Ream & Rule Fulfillment, and the tracking number leads to the order page.
- In-stock orders placed by a purchasing agent ship as soon as they are placed.
Returns and cancellations
Every return and cancellation is decided the moment it is asked for, by the rules below. An agent asks with the request_return tool or POST /orders/{id}/returns and gets the decision back at once.
- Items that have not shipped yet are cancelled and put back in stock.
- Items that have shipped can be returned within 30 days of the ship date.
- The refund is the unit price times the quantity, plus the items' share of any tax. Shipping is refunded only when the whole order comes back.
- A refund never exceeds what is left of the order total after earlier refunds, and it always goes back to the original payment.
- A request for items that are not on the order, for more units than are left, or after the window has closed is declined with the reason.
- Sending the same items and reason again within ten minutes returns the first answer; nothing is refunded twice.
